Faye is a handpoke tattoo artist based in Newcastle, UK and owns Evergreen Tattoo Studio.
She creates delicate tattoos without machine, which are often inspired by nature. She has a passion for creating elegant botanical tattoos that are made with fine lines and subtle dot shading to achieve the gentle leaf and flower formations.
With a background in mural painting and a degree in Fine Art, tattooing was a natural progression, and in 2016 she started handpoke tattooing.
"The handpoked method is a more gentle way of getting a tattoo, and it can be a relaxing experience. Most of my tattoos are done this way and I think that is why I was drawn to learn this method instead of using the machine. I like the simplicity of it and its more of a calmer experience without the noise."
